Project Update: Dancing with Death

We've recently wrapped production on "Dancing with Death," a captivating 6-10 minute live-action drama fantasy that offers a fresh perspective on life and death. In the film, we delve into Death's role in the world and its view on the end of human lives. Death is portrayed as a sympathetic figure, devoid of control over how a person passes but merely signalling the time for the soul to move on with a click of its skeletal fingers. As millennia pass, Death begins to feel the weight of its duty.

We're thrilled to have had the incredibly talented David Schaal join us to portray one of our key characters.

Additionally, during a pivotal shoot day, we had the honour of hosting Councillor Valerie Laurent, The Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of Southampton. Her gracious words encapsulate the essence of our project and its impact on the local community: "I am so grateful to Shannon and Evan for inviting me to their shoot. I feel very passionately about amplifying local talent, so to witness filmmaking on Southampton soil was spectacular. Collaborations with Southampton Solent university give students and young people early opportunities to gain hands on experience, something which is incredibly valuable in the film industry. It was a pleasure to learn about the wider project and how Shannon and Evan strive to employ locally. I’m lucky to have met some of these incredible talents and I look forward to seeing what comes next."
