I’m incredibly excited to finally share a project that means a great deal to me — My Roommate Lucy, an independent feature film I’m producing, filming this August right here in Hampshire.

At its core, My Roommate Lucy is a heartfelt supernatural comedy about connection, grief, and unexpected friendship. It follows Joe, a quiet office worker who finds himself living with an unusual new flatmate: Lucy — a ghost. What starts as chaos slowly unfolds into something tender, hopeful, and, at times, beautifully strange.
The film is written and directed by Chris Witt, and is being produced in collaboration with Film Expo South (Gillian Tully). We’re proud to be working with a local cast and crew, including the incredible Toki Ogunkolati as Joe and Megan Paul as Lucy, and to be filming in and around Holbury and the New Forest.
We're currently crowdfunding to help make this film the way it deserves to be made — with care, craft, and community at its heart. If you'd like to get involved or help us spread the word, you can find more info - GOFUNDME or check out our press kit.
This story is for anyone who’s ever felt a little lost — and found solace in the most unexpected places. I hope you’ll follow along with us on this journey.
